As I see it this was the perfect time to have some one-on-one time with the great Sallie Portnoy and introduce myself to a beautiful new sculptural medium…. GLASS!

The whole sacrificial clay model, plaster moulding, fibre glass reinforcement, firing and annealing process of liquid glass sculptures reminds me a little of my life over the past five years.
